Mr. IoT to speak at November Maui TechOhana

Chief Futurist aka ‘Mr. IoT’, Robert Schmid, will be the guest speaker at the next Maui TechOhana on November 21, presented by Maui Economic Development Board.

A Deloitte Consulting LLP principal, Robert has more than 20 years of experience transforming Global Fortune 100 and start‐up companies to new 21st century technologies. He has extensive experience delivering business value for clients through innovative solutions and effective partnerships in the areas of Industrial Innovation, the Internet of Things (IoT), mobile workforce, cloud computing, wearables, AR/VR, merger integration, complex integrations, ERP implementations, digital supply networks (DSN), social media, and offshore and outsourcing.

A new resident of Maui and self-described “pragmatically audacious executive”, Robert is the co-host of the popular, online, YouTube-live program “Coffee with Mr. IoT” Fridays. The show features lively, interesting conversations with the builders, dreamers, the founders, the parents and the wild children of the IoT universe. 

The frequent author and public speaker will talk story with Maui entrepreneurs at MEDB’s Malcolm Center on November 21.
