The next Maui Techohana for entrepreneurs and small business owners will be on July 9 with guest speaker, Jennifer Apy sharing “Stories from the Marketing Battlefield: Wins and How We Earned Our Stripes.” Presented by Maui Economic Development Board, with support by the County of Maui, Maui TechOhana includes time for networking to encourage small business owners to collaborate and learn from each other.
Whether someone is a business leader or a consumer, they will gain insights with real-world stories from the front lines, where strategy, creativity, and resourcefulness led to big wins. From emotion-driven advertising campaigns to viral moments, and from smart content strategies to innovative applications of Gen AI, hear what worked, why it worked, and why people care.”
“To win the customer, you have to have a right to win,” says Jen. “In today’s hyper-competitive, super “noisy” market landscape, success in marketing isn’t just about being clever — you must earn the right to win.”
As a seasoned marketer for Fortune 500 brands (Mattel, Adobe, Intuit), an entrepreneur, a mentor for scaling startups and Partner with Chief Outsiders, the largest fractional executive firm for marketing and sales, Jennifer Apy has been in the trenches and has led from the front, truly earning her marketing stripes. Jen grew up on Maui and is a proud graduate of Baldwin High School, Brown University (BA Computer Science), and Stanford Graduate School of Business.
