For club to participate in the National Conservation Awareness Land Judging Contest in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
For Tech Connect Fair on Maui to promote STEM careers through hands-on, team-based experiences for 50 4-H members and 20 youth mentors.
For Orbital Research Tracking Projects (METEOR) that help students track low orbiting satellites and debris.
For the Discovery Education program that helps integrate technology, science, and multimedia into regular classes.
To advance student use of technology through inquiry-based lab experiments.
For experiential play-based learning of biological processes and the importance of technology.
For 60+ students to clone, sequence and analyze genes from native Hawaiian plants in a biotechnology lab.
For 12 University of Hawaii-Manoa graduate students and 4 faculty members to participate in math mentoring for 300 students from Moloka`i schools.
To enable the Digital Media team to participate in the Student Television Network Convention and On-site Competition held in Orlando, Florida.
For staging of the 2nd Annual Maui Based Competition that provides 120 students with opportunities to display their knowledge in graphics and digital media.
For a digital media lab that promotes visual literacy for 165 students.
For computers and software to give students hands-on opportunities in digital media with a focus on TV production.
Provided internships to apply an emerging interest in science to real world problems, and experience that give two interns insight into determining their future career paths.
